Easier said than done

I have lost my chirp,
The usual happy-go-lucky me has gone hiding,
In its place, a lost soul,
wandering around without a direction.

I want rainbows,
I want flowers,
I want everything,
But I think I hold on too tightly,
Like water or sand,
It keeps slipping off my hands...

I must learn to let go,
Easier said than done...
How could I let go something so sweet?
How could I forgo something so beautiful?
How could I forget all things tender?
How could I ever let go?
